Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place two cups of the flour in a large bowl
  2. Add all the other dry ingredients
  3. Slowly pour in the milk and mix to get a wet soft dough
  4. Add the remaining 1 cup of flour
  5. Grease your hands, dust a large working surface with flour and turn the dough
  6. Knead the dough, adding more flour until you have a pliable smooth dough (6 minutes approximately)
  7. Grease the same bowl and place the dough in it and cover. allow to rise for 30 minutes
  8. In the meantime grease a large baking tray and cover with foil or baking paper
  9. In another bowl, mix the jam with the dry fruits
  10. Turn the dough which should have doubled in size on the working surface
  11. Knead and using a rolling pin, flatten to get a rectangular shape (u can do it in two batches)
  12. Once flatten enough, spread the jam and dry fruits mixture on the dough, avoiding the edges.
  13. Slowly roll the dough in a tube (like a swiss roll)
  14. Using a sharp knife, cut into 2 cm size rounds
  15. Using the knife to help you transfer to the baking tray so as to prevent the jam mixture form falling out
  16. Bake in a preheat oven for around 35-40 minutes, at 180 degrees celcius until golden brown
  17. Remove from oven, allow to cool, dust with icing sugar
  18. Enjoy
