Delicious Sweet and Spicy Peach Salsa Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium pork chops (*i used a family pack of breakfast-cut pork chops, but any cut will work)
  • 1/4 cup green onion
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp peach jam

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Heat lightly oiled skillet.
  3. Brown chops on both sides.
  4. Transfer chops to a baking dish.
  5. Add more oil to the skillet.
  6. Cook garlic and onions until tender.
  7. Add salsa, tomatoes, salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, jam, and fresh peach pieces and heat through.
  8. Pour salsa mixture over chops and cover baking dish with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake in oven for about 50 minutes or until chops are tender.
