Delectable Dinner Rolls!!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 4 1/2 tsp yeast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soft margarine or 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 7 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Measure water into a large bowl.
  2. Add yeast and stir until dissolved. Add sugar, margarine, egg, salt and half of the flour. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Add remaining flour by hand until dough is easy to handle. Turn dough onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes.
  3. Place dough in greased bowl turning the dough until coated. Cover and let rise until double in size. Make dough into small balls and place on greased cookie pan with edges. Let rise until double again.
  4. Bake at 350ºF.
