Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix brown sugar, butter, shortening, vanilla and eggs.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except sugar.
  3. Shape dough into 1 balls; roll in sugar.
  4. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes on greased cookie sheets.
