Butter Pecan Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg.
  3. Add flour, salt, baking powder and pecans.
  4. Mix in vanilla.
  5. Chill dough 1 hour.
  6. Roll out 1/8 inch thick and cut with any size cutter.
  7. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes or until nice and light brown.
