Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream the butter, add the sugar, and beat until light.
  2. Add sifted dry ingredients gradually; mix well.
  3. Chill overnight.
  4. Shape into 1/2 balls.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Done when the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned.
