I hope everyone else enjoys this treasured family recipe as much as we do. It's not Christmas without these buttery melt-in-your-mouth cookies! Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
2 cups sifted flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cream the butter, add the sugar, and beat until light. 2. Add sifted dry ingredients gradually; mix well. 3. Chill overnight. 4. Shape into 1/2 balls. 5. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Done when the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned. |
