Ingredients:

  • 2 cups butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 5 cups oatmeal , ground until all is powder

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Mix oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda then add to butter/sugar mixture.
  3. Mix well and add chocolate and nuts.
  4. Make golf ball sized cookies and place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 375° for 16 minutes.
