Biscuits to Freeze (Johnny Cash's Mother's Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients.
  2. Cut out biscuits, put on cookie sheet and freeze.
  3. When frozen, take off pan and place in plastic bag.
  4. When ready to bake, place FROZEN biscuits in a COLD oven and turn to 450 degrees.
  5. They will be ready by the time other breakfast items are prepared. It takes 18-20 minutes for biscuits to bake.
