Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 1/3 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In a saucepan, stir in brown sugar, water, butter, nutmeg and cinnamon
  3. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook 5 minutes to make a syrup
  4. Core and peel top third of your apples
  5. Place them in a baking pan
  6. Fill them with nuts and raisins
  7. Pour syrup over
  8. Bake for 40 minutes
  9. Serve them warm and with ice cream if you'd like
