Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 3 packages dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Combine milk and shortening, heat to lukewarm.
  2. Add sugar, yeast, and salt.
  3. Add enough flour to mixture to thicken and beat.
  4. Add more flour and knead dough.
  5. Work and cut into biscuits.
  6. Biscuits can set until dinner is ready.
  7. Bake at 423 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
