Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  2. In saucepan, melt 6 tb butter or margarine over low heat.
  3. Blend in flour and 3/4 ts salt.
  4. Add milk all at once.
  5. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
  6. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
  7. Stir in tuna, diced apples and drained macaroni; turn into 12x7x2 inch baking dish.
  8. Combine melted butter and crumbs.
  9. Sprinkle on top of casserole.
  10. Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
