Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg(if using).
  2. Combine apple, egg milk and butter; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until combined but not over mixed.
  3. Spoon into lightly greased or paper-lined muffin cups, filling almost to top.
  4. Bake in 400 F(200 C) oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden and tops are firm to touch.
