Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cups shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl - set aside.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar.
  3. Add egg and extract.
  4. Add dry ingredients to shortening mix.
  5. Make into balls and flatten with hand or botom of cup.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
