Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract, if using, and beat well.
  4. Mix in flour.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes.
