Directions:

  1. Scald cream with banana in a double boiler.
  2. Beat egg yolk with sugar then add slowly to hot cream then continue to cook until thick.
  3. Stir in vanilla and strawberries then cool and chill.
  4. Freeze according to directions of ice cream maker.
