Spiced Rasin Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 16 oz raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and spices and set aside.
  3. In another bowl mix butter, sugar, eggs and the vanilla.
  4. Slowly add the dry mixture to wet until blended.
  5. Stir in raisins, spoon dough onto ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned.
