Soft Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package devil's food cake mix
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 large egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. Combine cake mix, water, butter and egg in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Beat with electric mixer on low speed until moistened.
  5. Increase speed to medium; beat for 1 minute (dough will be thick).
  6. Stir in chips and nuts; mix until well blended.
  7. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
  9. Let cookies stand on cookie sheets 1 minute.
  10. Remove cookies to wire racks; cool completely.
