  1. Melt margarine slowly; add dates, sugar, milk and egg yolks.
  2. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly, over low heat.
  3. Remove from heat; add vanilla, rice krispies and pecans.
  4. Mix well and shape into balls.
  5. Roll in flaked coconut.
