Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream , whipped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine peaches, orange juice, and sugar; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently.
  2. Pour mixture into freezer can of a 1-gallon hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
  3. Note: 2 (16-ounce) packages of frozen sliced peaches, mashed, may be substituted for fresh peaches.
