Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cup. of chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 cup. of green peppers
  • 6 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup. of sugar
  • 1/3 cup. of vinegar
  • 1 (15 oz) can of tomato sauce
  • 1 (12 oz) can of tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. of cumin
  • 2 tsp. of pepper
  • 1/8 cup. of canning salt

Directions:

  1. First mix all together and bring to a slow boil for approx.10 min.
  2. Then seal in jars and cook in hot water bath for approx. 10 min.
  3. Note: Cumin in this makes it hot so when I want a milder salsa I just omit the cumin.
