Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. unsifted flour
  • 1/2 cup. powdered sugar
  • 1 cup.. cold butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 ( 6oz. ) package toffee baking chips (like heath)
  • 1 cup. chopped pecans (i chop mine pretty fine in processor)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, then cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Press mixture firmly on bottom of 9 x 13 pan, bake for 15 min.
  4. Meanwhile, beat sweetened condensed milk, the egg, and vanilla together.
  5. Stir in chips and pecans.
  6. Spread over partially baked crust and continue baking for 25 minutes.
  7. Cool, cut into bars and enjoy!
  8. My recipe says to use an ungreased pan, but I spray mine lightly with cooking spray.
