Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of half and half

Directions:

  1. Take the left over Pea Pudding and put into a sauce pan and cover with water. Heat gently until the mash has disappeared. If too thick add more water. You want the consistency of a thick soup.
  2. When hot add about a 1/4 of half and half (half cream and milk)
  3. Add nutmeg, and black pepper to taste.
  4. Heat and serve.
  5. I was sure how it would turn out but it made the best pea soup I have tasted. Even out did the H brand of Pea soup.
