Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp lemons , zest of, grated (1 lemon'
  • 3 1/3 cups water
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice (about four lemons worth)

Directions:

  1. Boil the lemon zest, water, and sugar in a small saucepan for about five minutes.
  2. Take off the heat, and stir in the lemon juice.
  3. Put in refrigerator until cold.
  4. Freeze according to your ice cream maker's directions.
