Nut Dreams (Aka Wedding Cookies)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb margarine or 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour , sifted (all purpose)
  • 2 cups nuts (measure before chopping)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Cream together margarine and sugar and vanilla.
  3. Add flour a little at a time.
  4. Fold in nuts.
  5. Roll into balls using a teaspoon measuring spoon to scoop and place on cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 25-35 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar while hot.
  8. Place on rack to cool.
  9. Roll again in powdered sugar when cool.
  10. Store in sealed container.
