Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp grapeseed oil (optional, i use it because the hair absorbs it easier)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cups water

Directions:

  1. Put olive oil, grape seed oil and coco butter into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for about 1 minute or until the coco butter is completely melted. Let the mixture cool to where it is not hot to touch. Using a fork blend in the honey, then blend in the yogurt and mayonnaise. Then beat in the egg and beat until mixture is creamy and smooth. The mixture will be thin. Apply to hair coating all of the hair and ends. Then message into the scalp. Let it sit for 1 hour. Then rinse and shampoo. After shampooing use the vinegar rinse, rinsing from top to bottom. Let the vinegar rinse set in your hair anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes while you're in the shower. ( I do this to remove any excess that could be left from the deep conditioner because my hair is easily weighed down.) Then rinse and shampoo and condition as usual or whatever it is you do daily to your hair. I use this from 1 to 3 times a week depending on the weather and what I am putting my hair through, blow drying, curling, etc.
  2. If you have shorter hair you can refrigerate the left over for the next weeks treatment.
