Macaroni and Cheese Florentine

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (4 oz) package knorr cream of spinach soup mix
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni , undercooked slightly, drained
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan combine milk, water and soup mix.
  2. Stirring constantly bring to a boil over medium-high heat, boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in cheese and mustard until smooth.
  4. Add macaroni.
  5. Turn into a greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  6. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
