Low Sodium Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup no-salt-added ketchup
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Mix together all ingredients in large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Once the mixture is hot, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Refrigerate any sauce not being immediately used.
