Italian Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 100 g butter
  • 3 tbsp cocoa pwd
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee pwd
  • 5 litre eggs
  • 1 tbsp cocoa icing sugar

Directions:

  1. Pre heat the oven at 180 deg C and grease a 20 cm pan .
  2. Melt the butter and the chocolate .
  3. Whisk in the cocoa and coffee pwd .
  4. .......................
  5. In a mixer beat the eggs and sugar until thick and pale .
  6. Fold in the walnut meal .
  7. Now fold in the chocolate mixture .
  8. Bake for 40 mins .
  9. .................
  10. Dust with the sugar .
  11. Serve warm .
