Ingredients:

  • 1 quart water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 (2-inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 quart grape juice
  • 1 quart strong tea
  • orange slices (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in large Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes; strain, and return to Dutch oven. Stir in grape juice and tea. Heat thoroughly; serve hot with orange slices, if desired.
