Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan.
  3. In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar; beat in egg, milk & vanilla.
  4. Stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cereal crumbs, and 1/4 cup walnuts.
  5. Add to creamed mixture, and mix just till blended. (Batter will be stiff).
  6. Spread evenly in pan.
  7. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/4 cup walnuts.
  8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or till toothpick tests clean, and top is lightly browned.
  9. Cool. Cut into bars.
