Grilled Citrus Spritzer

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat barbecue and lightly oil grill.
  2. Slice one lemon and one orange into 1/2-inch thick slices. Divide the citrus slices between the 6 skewers. Cut remaining citrus fruits in half.
  3. Grill citrus slices untl caramelized and marked on both sides, about 2 minutes per side; remove. Grill citrus halves cut side down until well-caramelized and warm 5-8 minutes.
  4. Squeeze and strain the juice from the grilled halves into a pitcher. Stir in honey and a pinch of salt until dissolved. Add cranberry cocktail, wine, carbonated water and ice. To serve put a citrus swizzle stick and a mint sprig in each glass.
