Ingredients:

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups walnuts or other nuts
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups dried fruit

Directions:

  1. Stir the oats and nuts together
  2. Bake in a shallow pan in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes
  3. Mix the brown sugar, flour and salt
  4. Combine the honey, oil and vanilla
  5. Remove oats and nuts from the oven and stir in the brown sugar and flour mixture
  6. Stir in the honey mixture
  7. Spread evenly in the shallow pan
  8. Return to the oven for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice while baking
  9. Transfer to a bowl or cool shallow pan for cooling
  10. Add dried frut
