  2. In a microwave-safe container, combine the apples with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Close lid, leave one corner of lid open to vent out steam, and microwave on high for 10 minutes.
  4. Using a hand blender or potato masher, blend to desired consistency. Serve hot immediately or chill for later use.
