Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 cup warm water
  • 3 tbspoon fresh yeast (or 1 packet of dry yeast)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • filling
  • 2 bunches green onions
  • 1 bunch dill
  • 3 tbspoons oil

Directions:

  1. Mix the yeast with 1 teaspoon of sugar and a small amount of warm water. Knead the dough using all ingredients above until it doesn't stick to your hands anymore and let it sit for at least one hour. You could also use a bread mixer.
  2. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing: dice the green onions and the dill, add the salt and the oil and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle flour on your work table and divide the dough in two equal pieces. Cut the two pieces in two again and after that each one of the four in halves. This way you will obtain 8 equal balls.
  4. Spread each ball of dough as thin as you can. On one half place 2 Tbspoons of the filling. Bring the other half over the filling and seal the ends by pressing with your fingers. Spread the filled dough a little, careful not to brake it!
  5. Hot the oil in a non-stick pan. When hot, fry the flatbread on both sides, until it gets some color. If bubbles form on the dough while it fries, stick the flatbread with a fork here and there.
