Crispy Fruit 'n' Marshmallow Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (bits)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 10 oz marshmallows (1 bag)
  • 3 tbsp margarine

Directions:

  1. Spray a 13-by-9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, combine cereal, raisins and fruit bits; set aside.
  3. Put margarine in large microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave on high for 15 to 20 seconds until melted.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Add marshmallows and stir to coat. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows are melted, stirring once. Stir until smooth.
  7. Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal mixture and mix gently.
  8. Press into pan.
  9. Cool and cut into bars.
