Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (13 oz) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 (12 oz) bags chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan.
  2. Stir over medium heat till blended; bring to a boil, stirring constantly and continue boiling for 5 1/5 minutes (do not mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Pour into a buttered 9x13 pan or larger if you want.
  5. Makes 5 pounds.
