Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in food processor, blend 5 seconds (or just mix them by hand)
  2. Add butter and blend, using on/off turns, until mixture starts to get crumbly
  3. Add 3/4 cup cream, blend using on/off turns just until dough starts to come together
  4. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface, sprinkle with hazelnuts & chocolate pieces
  5. Gently knead (4 or 5 turns) to mix in nuts and chocolate
  6. Shape into 2 equal balls
  7. Press out to 6″ round (1/2″ thick), brush with remaining cream, then cut into 6 wedges each (12 total)
  8. Arrange wedges on buttered baking sheet (space 1″ apart)
  9. Brush tops with remaining 2 tbs whipping cream
  10. Bake until puffed and golden, about 16 min), then devour with tea
