Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 package. (2- layer cake
  • 4 oz (1/2 of 8-oz package) philadelphia cream cheese, softened (really soft!) speaking from
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375*F. Place all ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Beat with electric mixer on low speed for 2 min.
  3. Beat on medium speed an additional 2 min.
  4. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  5. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
  6. Flatten each ball in criss-cross pattern with fork tines dipped in sugar. (optional)
  7. Bake 7 - 8 minutes or until edges of cookies are set.
  8. Cool 2 min. on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Makes 3 1/2 doz.
