  1. Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer; gradually add

  3. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to
  4. Creamed mixture, mixing after each addition. Stir in cashews. Drop
  5. Cookie dough by rounded teaspoonsful onto lightly greased cookie
  6. Sheets; bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly
  7. Browned.
  8. Makes 7 dozen
