This makes about 84 cookies, you decide how many it will serve, I don't think one a piece will work LOL Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, softened |
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1 1/2 cup finely chopped cashews |
Directions:
1. Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer; gradually add 2. sugars, mixing well. Add egg and vanilla extract; beat well. 3. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to 4. creamed mixture, mixing after each addition. Stir in cashews. Drop 5. cookie dough by rounded teaspoonsful onto lightly greased cookie 6. sheets; bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly 7. browned. 8. Makes 7 dozen |
