Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat first four ingredients in a skillet until the sugars
  2. Caramelize (melt and start to turn brown).
  3. Stir in 2 ounces
  4. White rum and let cool.
  5. Slice 4 bananas.
  6. Arrange 1/2 banana per person on dish, spooning
  7. 3 to 4 tablespoons of the caramel sauce over the bananas.
  8. Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons of chopped peanuts over the caramel
  9. Sauce.
  10. Yield: 8 portions (1/2 banana each)
  11. Optional: serve with crepes and vanilla bean ice cream.
