Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Sift together flour and soda then add a little at a time to butter mixture. Roll out and cut with seasonal cookie cutters. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. For the icing make a glaze of 1 cup 10x or 4x powdered sugar, water and food coloring.
