Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Tie string to pine cone at bottom (narrow pointed end) cut string to desired length.
  2. Melt peanut butter& shortening in small saucepan.
  3. Add cornmeal.
  4. Heat& stir for 3-4 min.
  5. Until well mixed.
  6. Mix the birdseed into peanut butter mixture.
  7. Using fingers put the mixture into the petals until it is full.
  8. Chill for a few hours.
  9. Hang on a branch.
  10. Can be frozen so you always have some on hand.
