Best Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup softened butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 (2/3-7/8 oz) peanut butter cups

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Mix first five ingredients in mixing bowl.
  3. Add butter or margarine, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Cut peanut butter cup candies into 1/2 pieces.
  6. Fold into mixture.
  7. Shape into walnut sized balls and place on cookie sheets that are greased or sprayed with cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes.
