Banana Orange Nutmeg Bread

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Puree bananas in blender (1 cup).
  2. Pulverize walnuts in blender; combine with flour. baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt.
  3. Cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg, orange juice and orange peel until blended.
  5. Beat in flour mixture alternately with puréed bananas.
  6. Stir in raisins.
  7. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  8. Bake in a 325°F oven 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
  10. Turn onto a wire rack to cool.
