Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325F ( 160C). Generously grease and flour a 10 tube pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine oil and sugars.
  3. Add 3 eggs and beat well.
  4. In a separate bowl sift dry ingredients. Add to first mixture and blend thoroughly.
  5. Peel and dice apples into large pieces and fold into batter along with nuts
  6. Spread batter evenly in pan and bake 75 - 90 minutes ( 1 /14 - 1 1/2 hrs)
  7. Cool in pan about 20 minutes, then turn onto wire rack.

  9. To make glaze:
  10. Combine ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  11. Boil 1-3 minutes, spread over warm cake and serve.
