All Time Best Ever Peanut Butter Bars!

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz margarine
  • 4 3/8 oz brown sugar
  • 14 3/8 oz sugar
  • 5 7/8 oz eggs (1 large egg=
  • 1/4 oz salt
  • 2 3/8 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 14 3/4 oz powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup 2% low-fat milk

Directions:

  1. Bars:.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Grease jellyroll pan.
  4. Cream eggs, shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  5. Combine eggs, vanilla and water.
  6. Add liquids to creamed mixture.
  7. Mix remaining dry ingredients together and add them to creamed mixture. Beat.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes and turn pan and bake another 10 minutes. May require an additional 5 minutes or so.
  9. Cool before frosting.

  11. Combine peanut butter, powdered sugar and milk.
  12. Beat until smooth and creamy.
