Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix brown sugar, margarine, water and vanilla.
  2. Stir in flour and salt until dough holds together (if dough is dry, stir in 1-2 tsp. water).
  3. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  4. For each cookie, group 5 pecan halves (to form head and 4 legs like a turtle) on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls around caramel pieces; press firmly onto center of each group of pecans.
  6. Bake until set but not brown, 12-15 minutes; cool.
  7. Dip tops of cookies in chocolate glaze.
  8. Chocolate Glaze:
  9. Beat powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. water, the chocolate and vanilla until
  10. Smooth. If necessary, stir in water 1 tsp. at a time until desired
  11. Consistency.
