Turn the Oven Off! Prime Rib Roast

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Any size roast.
  2. Rub with olive oil.
  3. Rub with Salt & Pepper to taste.
  4. Garlic Salt (I use fresh minced garlic).
  5. Preheat oven to 375°.
  6. Place beef (fat-side up on rack) in a roasting pan uncovered in oven for 1 hour AND THEN TURN OFF OVEN.
  7. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR FOR ANYTHING!
  8. NO PEEKING!
  9. Before serving, turn oven back on to 300°.
  10. 45 minutes before serving the roast will be RARE DONE.
  11. 50 minutes before serving the roast will be MEDIUM DONE.
  12. 55 minutes before serving the roast will be WELL DONE.
  13. Take out of oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
  14. PERFECT EVERY TIME.
